IWCS Club Show

The major thing to watch are mouths. Far to many were not correct scissor bites – far too many bites were level. And as usual, there were a few bad mouths on the show. The exhibitors themselves will realise that having level bites is wearing down the lower incisors – so be very careful!

Size – I was pleased to find great size in the breed here, and very importantly, quality was still there. Your heads are good to excellent – I did not find a bad head. But too many did not have the typical soft expression which is an essential part of the breed.

Another major issue: There were too many feet that were not typical of our breed, and I would suggest maybe more hard surface exercising might help.

But I must say I was very pleased with the overall quality. I found it difficult at times to separate for places – especially in the males, which to me was surprising, as my females came a little easier.

I am sincerely thanking you all for coming to the show.
